My wife and I have disagreements about where to store some of these. I’m talking about store-bought, jarred stuff. What say you about the following, amongst others?
Soy sauce/tamari/ponzu
Sriracha
Fish sauce/nam pla
Ketchup
Mustard
Worcestershire sauce
Soy sauce/tamari/ponzu Soy Sauce - Pantry
Sriracha Pantry
Fish sauce/nam pla Fridge
Ketchup - parents left it in a cabinet / pantry - we refrigerate
Mustard Fridge
Worcestershire sauce Pantry
WHAT? soy sauce in the fridge? That’s like eating french fries with chopsticks. No…leave it in the pantry. Soy sauce isn’t supposed to be served cold and it’s not going bad anytime either.
On the other hand…we go through soy sauce way quicker than say…ketchup and mustard.

Anything that’s been opened, other than oils, we keep in the refrigerator. If they are consumed at room temp, we take them out enough ahead of time to warm up for consumption.
