Santa FE, NM next weekend

What do I do and where do I eat? We will have a car.

Dick Krueger’s house.

It’s very exclusive – the likes of Jeff Pfohl and Melissa Nicolson have dined there – but if you can grab a table, the chef is local legend and the after-dinner waters are reputed to be among the finest in the state.

Dick would be the best source of reccos. Maybe pm him. Marshall (who goes quite a bit) just gave me some reccos to give to my sis. He’s on vaca. so if he doesn’t repond here within a day or so, I’ll dig out what he gave me and post.

Thanks. I sent him a PM.

I was there last year. https://wineimport.discoursehosting.net/t/santa-fe-eating/41788/1

My wife and I had a very enjoyable visit to SF in June. In terms of things to do, the folk art museum is delightful and worth a look if you have any interest in that sort of thing. The Georgia O’Keefe museum was very nice, too, as was the state history museum. Out of town a ways, Bandelier National Monument is a wonderful place to see pre-Columbian ruins–but seeing it would eat up a good slice of a day. Personally, however, I’d invest time in that over Ghost Ranch.
As for dining, we ate twice at the 315 Bistro and Wine Bar–very nice food and a way better than decent wine list.

315 looks very nice so we’ll book for Sunday. Thanks

Used this site’s e-mail function–not PM–to send you the SF material I mentioned. Please let me know if it doesn’t arrive properly.
