Bit of an odd request here, but I have a contact who just had a wonderful thing happen to them in San Diego and am looking for a great wine vendor from whom I can get a really nice maggie of champagne.
Any recos? Will want to speak with them because I’ll want to fedex a card and note, then have courier come pick up from wine store and take to guy’s office.

I have looked at their stuff before as it appears in Wine Searcher results. But, my perception on several occasions, is pricing that is steep, high. It’s dissuaded me from ordering from there. I’m being honest, although I have never met the folks or dug deeper as to why.
