Rutherford Passport Weekend - Recommendations

Hey folks.

My wife and I are going to be in Napa for the Rutherford Passport Weekend this year. We usually take a long weekend up there in December, but tend towards Sonoma…so, I’m looking for any suggestions on wineries not to miss. The full list - http://rutherford-appellation-wineries.com/wineries.php

Outside of Rutherford, feel free to throw out any other suggestions for “gems.” We’ll be starting off Friday with a visit to Elyse, and slowly heading up to Geyserville (PIzza at Diavola). My wife’s a big fan of dogs and oaky chards. I like the Zin. We both like smaller places with personality where we can afford to buy more than one bottle.

I’d recommend Alpha Omega (winemaker is a member here) and Raymond, but there are plenty of good choices on the list, and many more outside that event.

Meander. Maybe make an appt. at The Terraces awesme Cab and Zin.

I’ve got both AO and Meander on the list, will add in Raymond. Hadn’t thought of Terraces - will check into an appt.

Don’t miss The Terraces and be sure to ask about their Balsamic.
