Riesling storage

I have a Vinotemp 2-deep fridge. I just realized they cannot hold 2 bottles of Riesling I bought from wine library. Are Riesling bottles all the same?

Put them in neck-to-neck with an inch of overlap and it’ll work just fine.

if by “same” you mean “tall and skinny,” then the answer is “yes (usually).”

Yes, except for Frankens.

thanks for all the replies!!!

Yup. Bocksbeutels break the rule.

No, some are even worse! Germany uses mainly a moderately tall bottle. Austria typically uses an even taller bottle (as does Alsace). Now the Germans are starting to use more and more of that extra tall bottle, particularly for the Grosses Gewachs wines. Diel, for example, has (I believe) gone to the extra tall bottle for ALL its wines.
