I can only pick 1 of the 2 its either the Rhys Alpine 2010 or Horseshoe 2010 which do you guys suggest?
To drink or purchase?
I’d drink Alpine first, but purchase Horseshoe (and hold a few more years).
Chardonnay or pinot?
Pinot Noir. To drink soon.
Have you had the two wines before? Very different styles and at our last Rhys dinner there were divergent opinions. My personal preference is for the Horseshoe which is generally more red fruited than Alpine. Others prefer Alpine. YMMV 
I don’t feel that either wine is very ready but if I had to open one today, it would be the Alpine. It will be fairly primary but approachable.
