Comfirmed my wife is my +1, bringing Spanish rice. Looking forward to it.
Confirming for me and a +1. Very excited for this. Thanks for organizing, Jay.
Will bring food. Not entirely sure what right now. Will think about it and update my post.
Confirming myself, Count, Countess & Z.
Adding a +1
I was thinking about doing some pork butts but can also/instead bring some cheese.
Put us down as a Yes for 2.
Since you are having dessert wines, thinking I will make homemade sfogliatelli and cannoli.
I will attend solo (thought I might have kids and grandkids, but not to be). I am thinking I will make the gravlax that taught you how to make gravlax – but I will confirm when we are closer. Looking forward to seeing you (and many others). Thanks again.
I keep thinking about which wine I will bring and then “D’oh!” I remember.
I am attending solo, though that can change, if so will let you know.
Dessert: Linzer Torte (I have been making this for 25+ years)…if anyone has raspberry or almond allergies…keep your distance or have an epi-pen handy. Will bring 2, if not 3.
If you think more apps are needed, then parmesan crusted artichoke hearts.
DM me Jay if needed.
My wife Laurie and I look forward to attending. Thanks for putting together Jay.
We expect to be there on the earlier side (3PM or so) with smoked chicken wings with a green Peruvian dipping sauce and, in my opinion, the world’s best salad! If other items are preferred, though, just let me know.
If I can have an oven for about an hour I’ll bring a lot of gougeres batter and bake gougeres
If not, let me,know and I’ll do something else, probably pork shoulder or pork belly or a dessert
Arnold will bring ribs to grill on one of your grills
We will be 3, Arnold, myself, and his mom
Sure. We have an electric oven, a natural gas oven, and an air fryer. Which one do you want to reserve and when? Is that in addition to or in lieu of the pulled pork?
Electric oven is first choice but gas is also fine. I’ll bring cookie sheets , etc. for,the baking.
It’s in addition to the ribs Arnold will grill
Juie G and I are in. Probably bringing a slow cooked brisket, and maybe a Russian Salad. Will update when we confirm the food.
In with a+1
I’ll bring a check for South Brooklyn Health Auxiliary, Inc. Looks like others will be sufficiently covering the cuisine.

Excellent. They need the money more than I need more food to freeze as leftovers!
Neil & Lorraine TBD
Confirmed for myself. My wife and parents-in-law TBD - I will confirm next week. I’m thinking to make ratatouilles. If my wife and in-laws join, they will probably cook something Korean, maybe bulgogi.

We will have LOTS of grilling equipment for bulgogi and potentially a significant Korean contingent to appreciate it, along with those of us who will eat anything.
Still can’t come due to my prior commitment. But I sincerely hope you are blessed with good weather, unflawed wines and wonderful companionship! Excited from afar that this looks like it’s coming together so well. Vive le Jay
Hugs and handshakes to all (I have firm plans to be in NYC area as part of my major rotational driving trip around mid-November or so)
Mike
We put the 52 inch rotisserie together today and tested it on beef ribs and chicken. My friend the ordered the full fresh lamb for delivery Friday so that he can give it a good rub and roast it on Saturday.
Jay,
I was going to make some as well. We can compare… I will make mine a day before though.
These are super easy and a crown pleaser…
Mike
I hope Jay H plans to put out plenty of Champagne then…
