Anyone know them? They seem to have some great prices on stuff.
TIA
Jorge,
Never heard of them but most of their prices look pretty good. I browsed through some of the inventory, they have a De Lisio Shiraz Label for the Simi Cabernet, no telling what you’ll get. From what I can tell it looks like they are in NY.
I would proceed cautiously. This is really a place called Freeman’s Bridge Wine and Liquor, about 25 miles from me (on the other side of Schenectady). My guess would be that it is one of those places that shows all their distributors’ wines on their website. Check that they either have the wine or can definitely get it before paying.
Wine Searcher says they have “4652 listings now showing for this retailer.” Oddly enough, the exact same number as for Zachys. This place can’t be that big.
Thanks people.
Ken, thought this’d be in your neck of the woods. So the actual store has a different name from the website huh? A red flag perhaps?
Perhaps, but Drinkthegrapes.com is a bit catchier than FreemansBridgeWineandLiquor.com. They are certainly not the first to do this. I believe a chain in NJ is (or was) wines.com. I just don’t think they have all those wines in stock.
