Yeah I get offers from them daily and most are horrible. They have direct allocations with decent producers, but then they price the wine at full retail. Kind of defeats the purpose IMO.

They only caught my eye by having one item at the low end of WS.
Occasionally they have decent deals. Actually I bought most of the arnoux-lachaux from them for relatively low prices just before the prices skyrocketed.

Ive bought a couple things from them at ws low, purchasing was smooth.

Just picked up a small order that had been on prearrival. They’re in a nice, brand new facility in American canyon near the airport, along with a bunch of other wine businesses we all know. I can’t really claim extensive knowledge, but responses have been timely, they seem very reliable.

I’ve bought from them and sold to them in the past, very smooth, prices can be on the higher side but seems like lately they have been more competitive with their new user selling system.

Have bought periodically over years, always with great service and top notch quality. Yes, prices on higher end allocated wines are full, but they often have had interesting and harder to find wines at very nice prices in mint condition.

These guys are on my wine-searcher ignore list now. Multiple instances of bottles marked in-stock, paid for, and scheduled for delivery, but they never ship. They never reach out, you have to email/call to find out they are not actually available. And recently they are not returning emails or calls. Thoroughly flaky.
Yup their storage solutions are high priced as well. I just use GSN and have not looked back.
Had to file a credit-card dispute since they do not respond to emails and phone calls. You hand them money, schedule a convenient shipment date from their web site, and nothing ever happens. Not a sign of a healthy business.
if anyone wants it, i have the ceo’s email. historically he’s been responsive IIRC.
I haven’t bought from vinfolio in awhile but my private rep usually has done a good job in coordinating everything.
