Any feedback on Stirling Fine Wines in New Jersey willbe appreciated. Thanks.
Do you mean Stirling???
Yes, thank you.
I used to sell to them but not since 05. No worries based upon prior experiences.
I bought some Zind-Humbrecht from them about two years ago for a song. No complaints; bottles arrived pristine, etc.
Limited experience but no problems at all. Everything delivered as ordered in a timely fashion.
I bought just once and everything was great.
Good shop to buy from. Very high end stuff is stored in a temp controlled wine room. I have never experienced warm temps in the rest of the store. Their prices tend to be aggressive.
Good shop, nice selection…ask for Paul, he is the most knowledgable wine guy there, and depending on how much you are buying you might even be able to cut a deal with him.
I’ve been in the store and purchased from them several times, although probably haven’t been there in a year or two. Totally legit and very pleasant to deal with in my experience.
Have bought Italian wines from them several times on line or over the phone. Service and shipping (including packaging) have been consistently very good. I would order with confidence.
I made a 2 hour round trip drive to go there very recently to buy some Conterno. What I first found was several dusty bottles of Conterno and other high-end Italians sitting on a room temp shelf by the front door. A little more looking around located a cooler with more bottles of the same vintages of Conterno and other top flight wines in the back of the store. Guess which bottles I purchased?
Right near my house. Usually good pricing. The store is typically a mess. Stuff is everywhere. If you see something online and can’t find it, ask. I buy there all the time. Many of the wines on my Blog Shopping List are linked to them.
If you live in the area it’s fine. But there are better stores in the overall area depending upon what you’re looking for.
