Anybody ever use these guys? Comments and/or contacts?
I ordered some bottles from them back in 2014. Michael Burke was my contact there. Nice guy and everything was shipped safely to my offsite in NY.

Does anyone have RECENT experience fulfilling “pre-arrival” orders with Larchmont?
Like VINT, Saratoga and others, they seem to be following the gray market playbook of llisting wines they don’t have and then fulfilling them through Europe…eventually.
I’ve got a few things on pre-order with them from March and May, but haven’t heard much from them about order status.
I did yet a reply from Michael Burke when I emailed in March for confirmation of a purchase. Seems legit, and I know that no one is shipping during the hot summer months so all of this may be perfectly normal, but I’ve yet to see my first bottle on the doorstep so it’s on my mind a little.
Anyway, curious to hear about other folks’ recent experience
I’m wondering the same time. They come up in so many searches, yet there is a dearth of information on them.
One pre order purchase last year. I got the wine but I was the one who had to call them to see if it was in.

When my wine arrived stateside, I had a nice call from Michael at the shop- everything got to me with no problems. I’ve since ordered more from them.
My sense is its a place where they know their wine and are leveraging difference between Euro pricing and US as many places do now. They’re just not as digitally slick as say, VINT or many others who do this.
I have placed a pre-arrival order last summer and have not heard ever since. I did email them last December but didn’t get any response. I have been calling them since yesterday but no one’s picking up the phone. Starting to get little nervous about my order. Has anybody been able to contact them recently?
I talked with them in December or so. It’s a one man shop I believe that just sells preorders. Communication isn’t optimal.
How were you able to get a hold of him? I understand it’s a one man operation but he should at least respond back whether it’s a week later. It’s now been 9 months so I want to know where the order’s at.
They don’t communicate as much as some of the more digitally organized shops (VINT for one example), but I have had good experiences.
