Anyone have any feedback on this place ?
Richard Torin (owner) has been at it a loooong time. I don’t think he has had any turnover in staff in 10yrs. Full disclosure-I have sold him a considerable amount of wine over the years (where I represented the seller) and he was the ONLY person who ever got on a plane to come and inspect the cellars where the wine was coming from. Contrast that with other folks that bought six figures+ worth of wine and just sent someone to claim it for them.
I know the last several years much of his business has been going to Asia. If you are buying I’d buy with confidence. They are rarely the “cheap” offer, but I think he does his homework much better than 99.9% of retailers out there.

Sorry, my exp isn’t recent (10 yrs ago), but I purchased some 87 Montelena from him with great results. Also visited his facility in CA, he had his stuff together.
