I am a partner in Balanced Wine Selections and used to own and operate MW Sales. My partner, Chris Walsh, and I rely on more than 50 years of combined experience as collectors, along with our extensive wine industry knowledge and connections, to personally locate and acquire our selections. We find our wines by traveling the back roads of mostly lesser-known regions in Europe and make connections with dedicated wine makers who are not necessarily so famous (yet) but are completely committed to making the best possible wines.

I’ve personally bought quite a few selections from Michael and Chris. They’re bringing in some really cool wines at great prices (think Kermit Lynch back in the day)… Great service and excellent pricing.
The selections are top notch (champagne, white hermitage, burgundy, Italy, and some amazing stuff from the Loire).
Literally every bottle I’ve tried out of the first mixed case I bought was amazing. I was tempted to buy a case of each.
Bottom line - these wines are crazy good values and in most cases they’re wines you haven’t tried before. if you want to be turned on to some high quality, small production stuff, sign up for their mailing list. All the offers all educational, informative and well done. The service is exceptional as I said and they often times offer free shipping on the already low prices.
