We’re going to be traveling up to Andover, MA in October to see my niece and her husband, plus her folks, and would like to take everyone out for a nice dinner. Any fine dining places within ten miles or so of Andover? Unfortunately, no one wants to go into Boston.

The best place to eat in the area is the Andover Inn on the campus of Phillips Andover Academy, very nice. It is just outside of Andover Center. I’ve eaten there a few times and have never been dissapointed.
Left Bank Restaurant at Stonehedge Inn in Tyngsboro is very nice with a spectacular wine list. Probably closer to 15 miles from Andover though.
Since I live near there, I’ve eaten at Left Bank quite a few times. It is very nice also but be prepared to pay a very hefty tab. The shear size of the wine list is impressive.
Very belated thanks for the advice, which we appreciated very much. We ended up going to Zabaglione in Ipswich and Blue Ginger in Wellesley, two places which my niece and her new hubby were interested in trying. Both worked out very well.
