Will be in Ottawa next week for a conference. Staying at Lord Elgin. Would appreciate suggestions re dining w a good wine list

Ottawa has a surprisingly good dining. Beckta is a 1/2 block down from the Lord Elgin. Lots offer BYO if you can manage a bottle or two into your luggage. List prices won’t be attractive to most visitors.
There re some Ottawa dining threads here. I’m a few years out of date to be honest, but Beckta will be solid.
