Restaurant Wine List Help Needed (Orlando)

Hi everyone! We are eating Father’s Day dinner at Knife & Spoon in Orlando at the Ritz, but I really need some help with thoughts on some good options to pair with dinner. Well aware that the list is overpriced as expected with the Ritz, but I’m hopefully that I overlooked something. Nothing style wise is off the table so any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks so much!

Prices are not too bad.

Lopez Blanco or Red
Arnot-Roberts Cab
Chateau Simone Rose (although it might be too young)
Littorai Pinot

Depends how many of you there are but the mag of krug 166 would be perfect for 2, assuming one of you wasn’t drinking!

The pink larmandier looks good, as does the chavy pucelles.

I’d probably order the Beaucastel

I thought the prices on some were not too bad.

What will you be eating & what are some wines you’ve liked in the past? As many have said, prices are not too bad…I will be going there the next time I’m in Orlando. It seems like a well put-together list. Also, what’s your price range in what you want to spend? It will help narrow down better selections for you.

2 options under $100:
RoseRock, Drouhin, Willamette Valley, OR 2016
San Filippo, Lo Scorno, Rosso di Montalcino, Tuscany, ITL 2016 $80

For a nicer Cab or Barolo I’d bring my own. How much is corkage ? Good chance we’ll be going later in the fall.

Are you going to play their golf course ? It’s one of my favorites.

Dry Riesling, Dr. Konstantin Frank, Finger Lakes, NY $16 glass $60 bottle - I personally haven’t tried any wines from the Finger Lakes, but have heard great things. This one stood out to me, maybe someone else can shed some light on this particular wine.

Kumeu River Mates Chardonnay
Littorai Wendling Pinot Noir

Failla is a very good pinot at a fair price. The rieslings are a good price and good wines.

Thanks all for the suggestions so far. My first glance at the list maybe thought the prices were a tad high, so I’m glad to see that everyone doesn’t think so! The first one I found was that Littorai Pinot so maybe leaning in that direction. In response to others above, there really isn’t a budget (just looking for good value) and we’d likely be eating steaks and some other random items. Thanks again for all of the suggestions!

Not sure about corkage price. I’ll ask when I’m there and circle back. We’re playing their course for sure as I love it! Also playing Shingle Creek & Orange County National

I’d add the 2014 Spottswoode Cab, and 2nd others’ recommendations for Littorai Pinot and Kumeu Chard.

I’ll add the 2016 Terlan Pinot Bianco Vorberg Riserva as a good choice for value, should you be looking for a white.
