Hi @MaxR , huge fan of your zinfandel (and the wines other people make from your zin grapes!)!

Can you tell us a little bit about the mixed whites. Assuming it’s a field blend but any idea on the varieties? Also, are they old vines?

From their website:

Varieties include Palomino (Golden Chasselas aka “Shasta”), Muscadelle, French Colombard, and a scant amount of Elbling, Burger (Monbadon), and Semillon. We produce only one white wine per year, from the small amount of white vines scattered throughout Mancini Ranch.

Given they aren’t single plot, likely similar age as the rest.

The back corner of Mancini Ranch has a lot of white varieties. It’s mostly old vines with some young vines (planted in 2017) of Chenin Blanc and Clairette blanche. It makes a lovely wine, that is one of our best sellers in the tasting room. It is rare to fine old white wine field blends in California, but many of the great old vine vineyard have a small amount of whites (e.g. Pagani, Saitone, Carlisle, etc).

Hi Max, I tried to process an order for the 6-pack sampler, but it would not calculate shipping at the $15 flat rate. Did I do something wrong in the order attempt?

The flat rate shipping isn’t auto calculating for some reason, I can refund you on the shipping difference if you place an order.
