BerserkerDay!!!

I’m here for the free magnum of Dom :champagne:

If these are from Richard Albert, I can tell you I have purchased from him on numerous occasions and had a perfect experience.

Solid endorsement!

I’m sure the weather is perfect, again, too

Dunno. Been stuck in a conference room, literally the entire day in a mediation, I have absolutely no clue what it is like outside. Other than my wife sending me perfect beach pictures all day long. while I work. In a high-rise. In ugly central Florida. Eating soggy empanadas and croquettes.

no stroke-by-stroke tennis report today?

Sounds so naughty

Email sent… Hoping I was early enough unlike last year

Alfert always delivers. Never had a problem with any of the wines I bought from him!

What does @Robert.A.Jr have to do with this?

Reminds me of the first day of law school.

My law school was quite Socratic. So you are sitting in a large auditorium style classroom with 150 other kids. The law school professor calls on you at the beginning of class, and you are up and in the hot seat for the entire hour. Some professors make you stand up. it basically means you were there to brief the cases that you were required to read for that class, and you will be peppered by questions throughout the entire hour. It is phenomenal training for litigators, but it is clearly not for the faint of heart. They do not ask questions that are easily answered.

My first day of law school, I walked into the contracts class, sat in the third row. And immediately the law school professor called ā€œMr. Albertā€. I quickly responded, ā€œit is Mr. Alfertā€. He chuckled and said, ā€œno, there is a Mr. Albert, but since you volunteered, why don’t you tell us about the case of XYZ v. ABC.ā€ Was a rough hour.

And then the whole class moves into torts. And the real Mr. Alfert got called this time. Yes, I was called upon twice in back-to-back hours, much to the mirth of my class. I will say it did gain me some props from my competitors, and then I was not called on again for the rest of the year.

And for the record, I am not the seller of these wines. But I am a buyer.
