Recommendations for wine with scalloped oysters

We are going to a Christmas Eve dinner with scalloped oysters. Very typical, crushed saltines, butter, oysters, some celery, more or less. What would you drink with this. I have a very California-centric collection of white wines, so no White Burgundy on tap. Thanks for your thoughts.

Champagne. From CA… maybe an unoaked Grenache Blanc or a Ceritas (-style) Chardonnay.

Yessss!!! I grew up with scalloped oysters served every Christmas and, even amidst the roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, it was always my favorite thing there. I think the Cali sparkler is a good idea. Even though they’re cooked, I still really love a crisp Muscadet with scalloped oysters. If all you have (mostly) is Cali, do you have any Liquid Farm? The White Hill might work well.

Edit: duh, about a week late to the thread. I hope the oysters were great. What did you end up pairing?
