In one week I will be traveling to California to meet up with two of my three daughters. Our itinerary will allow us one day in the Santa Ynez Valley and we would like to visit three wineries. What are your opinions regarding can’t miss wine producers? I am more interested in the goods than the experience. Interested in all wine varietals; however, when I was last in the valley several years, the Pinot Noir and Chardonnary really shined. Thank you in advance.

In Los Olivos Liquid Farm has a nice tasting room. Terre et Sang just opened theirs if you like SQN style wines, just opened one over the holidays that scratched that style of wine itch.
We really enjoy the wines at the Donnachadh and Holus Bolus/Joy Fantastic tasting rooms in Los Olivos. Grab lunch at Bar Le Cote a few blocks away

You can’t forget Tercero’s tasting room in Los Olives; Larry Schaffer, the winemaker and owner is a great guy, and his wines are really good;
Also Tyler winery is excellent for pinot noir and Chardonnay; I don’t think it is too far from Santa Ynez

Liquid Farm has great wines, nice staff, and a nice tasting room in Los Olivos. Can walk to whatever else in Los Olivos might also be appealing, and there are dozens of tasting rooms in Los Olivos now. But if you’re interested in visiting a winery (rather than a tasting room), consider Foley or Foxen.
