Just purchased a good amount of bottles from various wine retailers throughout OC/LA and here are my experiences -
K&L Wine Merchants - Still definitely the best wine retailer on the West Coast by a fair margin (huge selection, great prices, top notch customer service, and free pickup at any of their locations). My go-to for most wine purchases and I continue to be impressed with their ever expanding wine selection. Don’t forget to check out their Auctions (only 10% Auction fee).
Spectrum Wine Retail/Auction - Their retail location offers nice wines at a very competitive price and recently won my first auction with them. Great customer service and picked up my bottles with no issues. Their Auction website could use some work on the Web, but their App is much better (IMO).
Falling Bright Wine Merchants - Amazing customer service when I picked up my bottles, but their high quality selection is significantly more expensive than the competition (only worth shopping during their 20% off sales).
Wine Exchange - Their website continues to be a mess, but picked up my bottles with no issues and customer service was adequare (nothing special though). Great for Zin and White lovers.
Wine House - Picked up my bottle with no issues and they have a nice selection of wine available. Don’t know what happened to their Zin selection, but it’s a shell of its former self.
Woodland Hills Wine Company - Picked up my bottle with no issues and they have a decent selection of wines available. Not my first choice since it’s pretty far away from me and not near other wine stores like in OC.
Will continue to shop at these retailers in the OC/LA area and if you have any other recommendations, please let me know.
Thanks!
