What do we think?
Drew, I can’t answer for the Loire in general (far too broad in size and variety), but as a fan of chenin blanc, I enjoy 02 generally, 03 though these are often rich and some have a tendency towards a hot finish, 04 in coteaux du layon and jasnieres, 05 generally. 07 sounds fairly good, but I haven’t had many yet. I should also note that I tend to focus on drinking wines made in the demisec and moelleux styles.
For slightly older vintages, I really enjoy '96.
