I’ve had some really nice bottles from the 90’s but nothing from this millennium. Anyone with recent experience to share? Has anyone visited?
Thanks,

Thanks,
nope
thank you
Had only teurons 2005 last year, was really closed,but good quality.
older(2009 vintage);
I have had several vintages of some of his red 1ers (Aigrots, Teurons, cent-vignes, and Savigny 1ers) from the 00s. I find his stuff quite nice in warmer years, but I haven’t liked the 07s i’ve had. His 09s and 10s seem like they had the stuffing for a long cellar nap. I tasted the 05 Teurons about 3 years ago, and I thought it needed a solid 7-8 years. Its really good QPR in general, but I havent seen the pricing for the 11s and 12s yet.
Yes. Most recently, a pair of 2010s a couple of months ago: the Bataillere monopole and the Bressandes. Both struck me as excellent, just not particularly sociable right now: very structured, needing plenty of time.
Thanks very much!
I recently had the 09 Teurons. I don’t remember a whole lot other than it being very mineral driven, decent acidity, with a little bit of plush sweet fruit peeking through. Seemed to have the chance to progress nicely so took a flyer on a couple of bottles.
I’ve not had any from this millenium but I always snap up old bottles, they have aged brilliantly,in some ways far more so than one would expect.
09 Teurons offer at bassins yesterday for 39 bucks made me think of the $30-50 burg thread, still good wines in that range on occasion.
I had a 2009 1er Cru Les Toussaints which was DELISH.
This wine was just available through the Woodland Hills NYE sale for $29.96/btl. I should have bought more than two…
2009 Albert Morot Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru La Bataillère Aux Vergelesses - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru (11/8/2013)
Full bodied pinot with biting tannin on the finish. Healthy fruit is somewhat overpowered by structure at this moment. (89 pts.)
