Why don’t the production companies he is working with care about any of this. Look what happened to sports stars when they had domestic issues. Really troubling personality here.
When you Google him (just did), you have to go about 7 items down the page before there is a CellarTracker buyer beware warning. All of the other items are positive.
It’s disconcerting that he seems to be made of Teflon.
He was smart enough to have some experts work on amending his search engine results, reporting some that were not to his liking so they would be under penalty and move down the results.
But did folks buy after learning of his BMW parts scam and the wife-beating incident which led to the loss of his real estate license? I don’t think this information came to light until right before the 2013 ordering window opened.
The 2012 vintage Buying Window was long closed once August 2013 rolled around. I would assume that anybody who both bought any '13’s from Maison Ilan and is a Berserker knew of the BMW scam and wife-beating when that purchase was made. Are there folks here who bought the '13’s? What would surprise me a WHOLE lot more than purchases of the '13’s is any purchases of the '14’s, as it was very clear by mid-to-late 2014 that things weren’t right.
I think you guys who were sharing information privately since 2009 have no idea what other people knew. As others have said, it was only 2013, after 2012s were purchased, that many people realized what was going on. I bet the number of avid WB readers at that time who bought 2013s is quite small.
The old threads had lots of innuendo and very little substance. Bill started the whole thing by questioning if Ray was really selling Chambertin, without any indication of why he didn’t trust Ray. In fact when he was questioned on that, he obfuscated.
If someone really wants credit for tipping people off, let’s see where and when they publicly pointed to the BMW forum stuff.
