IMO, the 09 and the 10 are the greatest back to back vintages ever, equal or superior to the 59 and the 61.

You tasted those young?

I did EP until 2013 then my family obligation kicked in, i.e. my kids spring break.

No, but I don’t think it is necessary to taste the wines young to make the reference. Both are very concentrated and ripe vintages, i.e. very little green. For my palate, they are as good as the 82, 89, 90, 96 and 00.

Without knowing what the '59 and '61 tasted like young, I don’t see how you can declare that '09 and '10 are similar.
