Yeah, there are some really stupid HEY WAIT A SECOND!!
And here I thought most people were enjoying the better readability and functionality of the UI.
I do understand that the mobile experience seems to be limited. I don’t really like foruming on mobile so I haven’t bumped into it.

Once I hit reply in your post the chat bubble appears in upper left.
btw, every UI element here has hover explanations of what that thing does. just place your mouse cursor over an element and a little box will pop up telling you want that little boi does.

Useful on a system with a mouse, but not mobile.
You and me, both - I rarely use it on mobile - prefer the widescreen experience, in Dolby
Correct, but, with mobile, best to just use the ‘quote’ button and quote the whole post
I was only commenting on the “hovering” aspect for displaying tooltips on different widgets.
Actually, I do most of my browsing and writing on iPad, but in desktop mode.
But yeah, i said earlier that’s how I use quote more often than not. Hit the bubble, then delete anything I don’t want.
I use it on mobile, although not if posting something longer. Works much better than old software on mobile.

That was one of the main reasons for the switch, as MOST use mobile, particularly lurkers, and while I almost never do, figuring it was better for most was better than what was preferred for me!
