Question - Wine Authentication

Hi All -

I am curious how to best go about being prepared around showing that I have both stored a wine correctly and also have purchased the wine authentically.

I am doing some of the 2015 Bordeaux futures given my daughter was born in December.

As I am lucky enough to buy some of the nicer wines, I am going to ensure that they are stored correctly (likely at an offsite wine storage facility).

However, in the (hopefully) unlikely scenario my daughter is not a fan of the wines I want to be prepared for that scenario. What should I keep (receipts, etc.) to make the authentication process is hopefully smooth?

Thanks much in advance!

Keep receipts. Leave any tags/markings on the owc’s that show the boxes match your receipts. Thats really all you can do. There is no way to prove that a wine has been in temp controlled conditions throughout its life, but keeping original receipt to prove that you’ve owned a wine since release will go a long way.

Thanks -

Sounds like that is the best path forward. Will keep the receipts and not really touch the boxes.
