One of the wineries I work with was recently approached by the Q&F group about exporting to China. I’m checking if anyone has done business with them before, and if so, I’m curious to learn about their experience. Thank you in advance for any feedback!

No, not at all.
Are you still in touch with them?
Yes. I’m going to Prowein in Shanghai in November and proposed them to come to the show to meet. Instead they invited me to their office in Zhuhai to sign the contract we’ve been drafting. We’ve been sending samples previously which were well received and documented. However I still have question marks.
I know your feeling; how they operate business and deal is unusual and unprofessional. Firstly, they don´t have a proper website or company profile deck and no track record.
They said to order 30,000 bottles of all nine brands I propose, then become quiet regarding payment.
I have no idea what their intention is in doing this.

We are exactly on the same boat as you. We have also signed contracts with this company and we are at the stage of getting our samples analysed in order to get the foreign exchange approval. I have also been to their offices in Zhuhai but there a few things that don’t add up.
What is your experience with them? What stage are you at with them at the moment?

I am at the stage where I have paid them for my trademark registration and I am waiting to receive an invoice. the proforma was paid back in August and still haven’t received an official invoice. No invoice - no further payments.
What stage are you at?

Wine is the product that have been in discussions. Firstly I was speaking with Lynne then Kenny. All by email.
I am in a holding position with Q& F.
After emailing, sending samples and drawing up a draft agreement which they made several changes that did not align with me – they asked me to go to Zhuhai for a meeting. I have asked questions several times about who they have dealt with, experience, plans, etc which they do not
give me answers.
I enlisted our South Australian Government International trade representatives in Hong Kong and China to do some research and make contact with them. Firstly they denied receiving samples and claimed to not know anything and then did not take their phone call.
So red flags with this company. Kenny said they do not want any third party involved as they are seeking exclusivity in China.
I have our brand and logo trademarked in China and Q& F asked me to email them the certificate. As this is IP, I don’t feel at all comfortable sending this to them. Have you received your official trademark registration?
Did you attend a meeting with them? Are you still talking or have they gone quiet?

Hello, add me to the list of Q&F Group or Qianfan with questions. I have a Canadian Cider company and they approached us to order 50,000 flats of cider. We have been playing the game, sent them samples which they “approved”. I got the trade commissioner of Canada involved and their Chinese office couldn’t find any company registered. I’ve asked for their Business license but haven’t seen yet. I’ve asked for references from three companies they’ve done business with but haven’t received that. I’ve been dealing with “Kevin”. I’ve talked to him and aa girl over Teams a couple times. Seems as thought they know what they are talking about. We have a pro-forma invoice in place for the first shipment and a draft contract.
I was supposed to go to Zhuhai next week to sign contract but have cancelled my plans.
Anyone have a successful transaction with them?
I’m also curious what their MO is. Mostly IP? Or personal information. They have my companies banking information and my passport.

Have you had any progress with Q&F during the last days. As many others in this group, we have been approaching in the same way and have been required to follow exactly the same steps (Register IP in China, fly there to sign contracts, accept L/C without having a look at it…) We are both excited and a bit nervous for this opportunity as there is little to know about Q&F group or fulicloud. Your insight in the progress of this agreement would be unvaluable for all of us. Looking foward to it and great success to everyone in this chat!

I am sorry for not having been in touch lately but I have been extremely busy 
I made clear to the person that I have been chatting to for all this time( a year and a half now) that we will be able to proceed to sample testing once we receive confirmation/proof on our trademark registration. We paid the fee back in August and I was informed that apparently it can take a long time to receive the registration documents.
I would advise you to seek advise from your from your country’s embassy in China.I did!
Once there is a development, I will let you all know!

We have also had dealings with this company but just wondering if anyone has actually received payment from them or shipped any wine to them.
I have shipped 2 wine sample to them before, but I never heard anyone here has actually received payment from them. Perhaps this is a wishful thinking deal that we all wanted.

This is Ernesto from Spain, I don´t sell wine, but we are in contact with this company.
At the moment, we have agreed the contract, I was in their office in Zhuhai, and I signed the contract, and we are with the registration of the products and brand.
They have done an order, but we will start when the registration is ready.
I will tell you when we start, how is the feedback.

I have been in their office last year as I was in Hong Kong for other meetings. Signed contract like some of the other people on this forum have.
Made a few advance payments in Sept’24 for registration purposes but since then the response has slowed and now virtually dead! I have been in touch with Tammy and Kenny. Seems more like a scam/fraud as of now. Sent them another strong worded email this week, heard no reply. I was thinking of reaching out to someone from authorities and report the matter. Their trade license is not Chinese but Hong Kong registered.
