Purchasing Bordeaux with some age on it

So i have gotten deeper in the process of building out my cellar and I find myself looking for a retailer where I can purchase so ready to drink Bordeaux with some age on it. Is wine searcher my best bet or is there a retailer where I can buy a decent amount at once. Not working with a huge budget but would spend up a little if it worked out.

Congratulations on starting to enjoy the beauty of aged Bordeaux!! My first question would be where are you located and can retailers ship into the state where you reside, assuming you want to purchase at retail and not at auction?

Thanks! I am in MA just south of Boston. I have not purchased at auction but wouldn’t be opposed.

Thanks. I would recommend some of the California retailers, but I am not sure if they are able to ship into your state. K&L, who is the local retailer that I use, cannot ship directly but may have a way to ship through New York to get to you. I know there are several BDX enthusiasts on this board that live in your area; hopefully one or two will chime in about the shipping logistics. MacArthur Beverages in DC has historically had a nice selection, and I have found some good gems at Federal Wine & Spirits in Boston when we visited there, the last time being 2021. Cheers!

Saratoga Wine Exchange ships to MA

I have actually been thinking about taking a ride over there. You have nudged me over the edge haha.

Also Saratoga is great I have used them before.

The good stuff is downstairs, or at least was when we last visited! Make sure you go down that spiral staircase to see what they have!
