Yeah, jumped on that one quick…

This is obscene! 2 cases needed easy!

Yep case of rose, no brainer.

Holding it open until about Noon - until I footstomp the Grenache we are bringing in today . . .

Cheers

Ordered a mixed case of whites and rosé. Thanks

First Tercero order in for a three-pack, 2x 2016 Roussanne and 1x 2016 Marsanne. Excited to try them!

Grabbed a case of the rosé. Consistently a fantastic wine.

I see Larry is letting go of some library wines or 10+ years on them. Nice.

The rousanne and marsanne are always excellent and age worthy.

IS Excellent!! And I paid $32 for it!

2016 Tercero Roussanne Zaca Mesa Vineyard - USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Ynez Valley (10/16/2025)
Three things…GORGEOUS color - brilliant gold and green tinge…GORGEOUS nose - apricot marmalade, honeycomb, slight Chenin petrol wool, antique wax…and GORGEOUS mouthfeel - WAX, rich honey butter creaminess, seamless! WOW…lots going on here. A richer Roussanne than I’ve ever had from them(last one was 2013)…plenty of tropical citrus cut and lift…even a little spicy with some white pepper…and just LOVE this chalky crushed rocks note in this! Cold cellar temp is key…everything peacocks. Kind of blown away here…this is wonderful! (95 points)

I’m sitting on a 2012 Roussanne. Absolutely brilliant wine.

That was my first ever Roussanne - still have a few cases of it somewhere . . .

I agree, these show really well at 55-62 degrees, but much less so colder. I think they also benefit from some air and some general patience and exploration.

Good wines for when you have some time to sit with them and watch how they evolve.

Thanks all!!! Time to stomp but will check in for questions, etc.

Cheers!

I actually took pause when I saw the shipping. Then realized where else am I going to get vintage juice at these prices that are good to go now.

LOL. Good point. I have some 14, 12, and 08 still lurking in the back of the cellar.

I was just looking through my tasting notes. 95 notes on 58 wines. I’ve tasted more but not all make it into CT for various reasons for which I’m responsible.

Decided to allow orders thru midnight in case anyone still wants to jump in . . .

Cheers!

FYI- These costs include me eating some of the fares, if you can imagine . . .

Shipping wine sucks.

A few Chicago guys went in on a case of rosé. Good stuff.

Yeah, I figured that. I had to step back for a minute. I recall a while back you asked someone if the bottles were 3-4 dollars more and shipping was free would they have purchased the wine? That has stuck with me. I guess I’m also spoiled with some producers waiving shipping on a case or more. Black Friday, Cyber Monday and other annual sales events. No complaints here. It is part of the business. And also I can’t get your juice locally so that makes it worth the while too.

Bought 3 Roussane’s and 3 Marsanne’s. Both of these are stellar wines that can stand up to any whites from the Rhone!
