The Zin will be priced at $50, wiith the Syrah and Mondeuse both at $90.

Any idea how these compare with the prices these wines used to be when Steve and Carole released them?

List price for the 2019 Lagier Meredith Syrah was $48/bottle last year. $40.80/bottle when ordering a case.

Lagier Meredith was always $48 for Syrah, $45 for Malbec, Zin and Mondeuse.

That’s a shame. I’ll miss these wines

Hopefully they’ll still have some for BerserkerDay 16.

There are still wines for sale on their web site.

While the price increase stings a little, another way to look at it is that the syrah price was $48 for the 1999 vintage, and has never gone up.

We do still have some wines for sale on our website

And, depending on what we have left, we’ll probably have some kind of offer for BerserkerDay

We’re going to try the Zin. The Tribidrag was always a favorite for us.

Logged in to buy 3 Zins until the shipping for them came up as ~$48 se we decided to pass. Would have been about $70 each with taxes and shipping.

Wine is heavy and fragile, it’s expensive to ship. And in regards to tax…well, can’t blame the winery for that.

Thats about what id expect for shipping if I was buying a 3 pack, though i wouldnt be buying at that price either.

That is correct. I’m probably used to some wineries subsidizing the shipping. But there are limits to what we’ll spend for some wines.

A full case of twelve heavy Pinot bottles shipped from WineBid to SoCal cost less than $40 last month.

Anyone in Los Angeles want to consolidate orders to reduce shipping costs?

Price-per-bottle drops dramatically with larger quantities.
