Anyone interested in a post Betz open house offline next weekend? I was thinking the Barking Frog which allows corkage for a reasonable rate.

Rather than the Barking Frog, when it first opened, we used to sit in the lobby bar at the Willows Lodge, and they would bring food over from The Barking Frog. Maybe we could do an OL in that lobby bar. Also, if this does not become a large group, you might convince me to do it at my house. I am not going to cook for a bunch of people, well I could certainly make a few pizzas, especially if someone wanted to bring some fresh picked chanterelles or other mushrooms, so everyone would have to bring some food.
BTW, what is the corkage at the Barking Frog?

I like Betz’s wines, but if this is an OL limited to those, then there is no need to come to my place because I won’t have much to contribute.

Sounds good to me. So does Burgundy, champagne, CdP or Piemonte. Hell, bring some mushroom lasagna and maybe Ed will show up with 90 Krug.
