Thanks as always for putting these together. You’ve found us a great venue.
I am throwing in a 2012 horizontal and an older bottle of Pegau:
2012 Pegau Cuvee Reservee
2012 Domaine Vivonne Bandol
2012 Domaine Malavielle ‘Mas de Bertrand’ St Saturnin (100 year Carignan)
2012 Domaine Cabirau Maury Sec (Grenache/Syrah, my vineyard)
plus
2000 Pegau
We’re now up to 11 bottles for 12 people, hoping and assuming we can get 12. I might throw in a white and/or a Champagne, but the wine list otherwise looks good to go!
Thank you for including me in this. Unfortunately we have too many moving pieces around the holidays to make this work. I hope everyone has a wonderful time, it looks like a fun & amazing line-up.
@Dan_Kravitz and I were chatting and thought it might be fun to order for pickup some food from Benkay, the Japanese restaurant next door to the venue, to go along with the wines and split the cost of the venue and food amongst the group. Some quick and dirty estimates (Venue: ~$25 - 40 / person; Food: ~$30 - 50 / person) keeps us under $100 / person. Please let me know if y’all are opposed or have any special requests for food: https://www.sushiman.com/. Otherwise, I’ll bring in an assortment and let you know the final numbers after the event.
Sadly, I will not be able to make it either with various holiday activities crowding the calendar. Would love to taste through some older Tempier though, so it’s a real bummer I can’t make it.
