Will be there for a few nights. Anyone have recommendations on where to dine?

I like Barbara Jean’s for lunch. Beach’s Diner for breakfast. JJ’s has a decent wine selection and pretty decent French bistro food. Palm Valley Fish Camp is a favorite. Madour is one of my parents favorites. Cap’s on the Water is also good. I remember Dwight’s being solid too.
Who gives a shit. Play golf until you drop and then have a burger and a couple of beers.
Thanks John. Looking into it more, I’m surprised to see that a lot of better places allow BYO for very reasonable corkage.
Mike, half of that sounds good. Have you played Sawgrass? Greens fees are only $475.
I’ve never played Sawgrass. Heard from a buddy that it’s a fun weekend trip. I don’t love target style golf these days and thus most of the Florida, Arizona, and Vegas courses with the boatloads of water or desert aren’t my cup of tee. Give me the links style or parkland style any day of the week. Not sure if you’re going for vacation or biz. But if it’s vacation, have you considered Streamsong? I’ve heard awesome things.
PS. When you add them together it all comes out the same: $475 greens fee + $12 Burger + 3 beers at $6 each and you have $505. Now take a lesser course with a $175 greens fee + $100 meal + $230 btl of wine and you have the same $505.
If you let me know in advance you go again next time I know a lot of members at various courses there that are always looking for someone to play with- Sawgrass, Plantation, etc.
