Played that online for dollas several times bro. It’s alright but too much going on to concentrate on actual poker. With Hold 'em you actually have to play the playas rather than just the cards.
Buy in is one bottle of wine valued around $30…that’s it. Then we play a Texas Hold 'em tournament for the bottles. Each player gets equal chips of course. Depending on the number of players we will have a prize break down. If it’s say 9 then it might be 1st gets 6 bottles, 2nd gets 2 and 3rd gets 1. That will be a game time decision.
I am going to try and make this game…a little iffy will let you know.
Sorry Frankie…but, I have to agree with Wetrock…This is poker!! LOL You can watch bits and pieces of the WSOP on TV now! The final table takes place next month at the RIO. There is only one first place winner
Will there be re-buys? Maybe I should bring extra bottles…hehe
An interesting idea, though (especially for someone who is always one of the first to donk out ). The problem here is time. If everyone kept buying in, we would run out of time before we get a winner.
CRAP - I cannot make it, another Geology Field Trip, but hell, I got a crap-load of French and Italian wines I could readily “lose” in such an evening. My pleasure, actually. Some Garagiste bottles from the same geographic regions too!!! I have to pay attention to the next one of these evenings of bottle dumping.

We’d love to have you at the next one, Eldon. As far as the buy-in bottles go, people do not treat at it as a “bottle dumping” - everybody seems to make a genuine effort to buy-in with bottles they think others will like.
