Pleasant surprise

This rarely happens to me, but I couldn’t be happier. So I received a notice from UPS that I was receiving a wine package weighing in at 48 lbs. so I knew it was a full case. My guess was that it was from dN since I have several packages due, but I was happily wrong. It seems that back in Jan I had ordered from Myriad and had forgotten completely about it. Certainly I’ve read about Mike Smith on this site and have had a few of his wines, but thrilled to get this. 3 btls of Dr Crane, 3 btls Dr Crane Elysian, 3 btls mcgah family Semillon, and 3 btls tofanelli old vive semillon. I’m as excited about the white as red. Any info anyone can share would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

I feel the Semillon gets overlooked a lot, but it’s a very good wine with great body and mouthfeel. More for near term drinking in my opinion.

Totally agree with this. Love the Semillon

Well I will probably try 1 of each of the whites in the next 6 months or so and wait to try the reds in 3-5 years.
