Planning your visit to Sonoma "County"? This might help.

here’s another Glen Ellen-based event: Transcendence Theater Company, Broadway Under the Stars.

basically, a summer-run of shows. fantastic venue, and great wines and beer be enjoyed pre-during-post show.

Very cool, congratulations Evan! Will do. Update us with an address when it happens. I’ll put you down as by appt until then.

Done!

Keep the info coming folks, this is great!

On Dry Creek Road you have to add Mauritson. Great Zins. They own a large part of the Rockpile so have some great Zin, Cab Sauv, Cab Franc, Petite etc from there.

Also Talty is now open every Friday Saturday and Sunday.

Mauritson is there. I have them listed under Rockpile and since that is where their Estate vineyards are.

Talty is there as well under Dry Creek Valley/Dry Creek Rd. [berserker.gif] Berserker recommended on top of that!

Thanks, I’ll update their hours of operation!

Brian, wasn’t Todd suggesting to sticky this thread?

I think we were overtly hoping he would when it was completed but he never mentioned anything.

Updated thread title to appease some whiney Healdsburg winemaker [wink.gif] [pillow-fight.gif] grouphug

Thanks Todd and again to Brian!

Thanks for the sticky Sir! [cheers.gif]

Great thread, Brian - Wife and I will be in the hood the week of 28th and will be using this to augment our current plans. Thanks!

Any recommended B & B’s?

Radford Inn - Great setting, wonderful proprietors, centrally locates in RRV.

Thanks…great info here.

really quick, we got it in growler format. So doesn’t look discontinued. Will segui was kind enough to have someone fill em up for us ;D

The Pliny situation is fluid. The brewery cuts off growler sales if they feel they will run out before the next batch is brewed and also adjust bottle limits (any where from 6 to 24, expect the lower end) for off sale to try and avoid running out.

I’ve enjoyed stays at Sonoma Orchid Inn, a bed and breakfast on River Road near Guerneville. Great breakfasts, friendly and helpful hosts, each room different and varying in price. Some cabins for more privacy, and other rooms in an older house.
I have also stayed at the Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park which necessitated lengthy drives to the vineyards but was reasonably priced.
I didn’t see Applewood Inn on your list of lodgings.

Charlie - I saw that on FB. I don’t get over to RRBC now as much as I did, but what Sean mentioned sounds about right. I was at Hopmonk in Sonoma a few months back and for the first time since we moved into the area they were out of Pliny. Perhaps the Younger release put temporary dent in supply of PtE? Supply does seem to be back to normal - I have seen bottles on shelves at the local market in the last few weeks and I had a pint of PtE last night at Hopmonk! [drinkers.gif]
