I’ve been trying to find these wines stateside. Has anyone tried these wines yet? Skurnik brings them in. The farming is on par with Olivier Lamy’s Haute Densite as he consulted on the project. I’ve been writing to them on Instagram, but trying to get my hands on a bottle, particularly the Chardonnay or Syrah.
Lopa just put out an offer on these in the past week, as did Leon & Sons. I have some of their Syrah from a prior offer but have not tried one yet.

I have had one of the Syrahs and one of the Pinots. The Syrah was like $40 and pretty good for the price point. I don’t recall exactly what I paid for the Pinot, but maybe $125. I expect the price is inflated stateside based on scarcity. For my tastes, it was probably not worth the price I paid. It was very well made, but did not really distinguish itself from many other US PNs (blind I would have pegged it as California PN, despite the Burgundy connections). It kind of reminded me of a Rivers Marie PN, which is a good thing, but Rivers Marie is less $ and easier to track down.
I have a bottle of the Chardonnay but have not tried it yet.
Yup, was gonna come mention this. I purchased a couple of the '20 Heathcote Syrah, haven’t tried them yet, but I’m making a special chili recipe tonight (smoking the ground meat for 2 hours, drippings over the chili base) so maybe I’ll open one!
The Syrahs are some of my favorites from anywhere outside of France.
Fantastic. I’m buying some tonight. Thanks @Pat_Esposito and @Michae1_P0wers for the direction.
@ToddFrench let us know how it pairs with that chili. It is the time of year. #skylinetime?
Yeah, the Syrah and Chardonnay seem to be the most intriguing. I know the vineyard is quite young as it’s just coming into its teenage years of commercial production. But, the winegrower, Remi, has been super responsive on Instagram when I write to them asking all sorts of questions. Super meticulous farming.
