Tonight after wine tasting at Susan’s we stopped at Andiamo for a couple pizzas and wine. They didn’t have the Proddutori Babaresco that I was hoping for, so we had a 2005 Avignonesi Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Our first pizza was their ‘White’ pizza - cheese, pancetta, & red onion topped with young arugula. The pizza was quite nice with the rich, complex dark fruit of the Vino Nobile. Then we ordered our second pizza- ‘Mushroom’ pizza with portobello mushrooms, pesto, and added spicy lamb sausage. This was also good with Vino Nobile. A nice supper after an enjoyable tasting at Susan’s Fine Wines.
