PERKINS HARTER - OFFER CLOSED - THANK YOU! ❤ 3L ZIN WINNER IS...>>>

Yes, same thing. Sorry to be offline yesterday afternoon + last night…had to pour a bubbles event but I’m back in the saddle today.

Got some Zin, but couldn’t figure out how to place a ‘pickup’ order thru Vinoshipper so I’ll email separately about getting some of offer #3 too

Can you please close this thing  I had to buy another pack.

I had a few people reach out today…so I’ll keep it open at least until tomorrow morning. But seriously, I have to start riddling my 2022 Chardonnay Ancestrale, meet with my vineyard team to see about timing on pruning, and get some shipments prepared so I’ll definitely have to wrap this up soon!

THANK YOU BERSERKERS for all of this Newbie love! It means the world to this small grower-producer as she forges into the 2024 vintage. Another year of uncertainty that could mean fires, could mean frost, but could mean a beautiful vintage…it’s all a roll of the dice and I’m clearly a gambling lady…but with a vineyard.

I look forward to your thoughts about these wines - many of which represent only the fifth harvest here at Bracken. This is just the beginning of a much longer conversation I look forward to having with you all about what we’re doing here in the Eola-Amity Hills. And as far as I’m concerned you are now part of my community as well - so don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, comments, philosophical rumination, etc.

And if you purchased my wines then you’ll start seeing my newsletters - which have something of a following. And if you just want to lurk and see what an over-educated winemaker can spew…then sign up for the list at my site.

Sending so much love back to you all,

Shelby Perkins
Winegrower

Yes, this has been a fun thread to read.
Thank you Shelby.
With this as a start - I trust the wines will be even more entertaining.

I think half of those messages are me responding but you’re kind.

Well, I certainly hope everyone enjoys drinking them as much as I love making them!

You should probably explain Pobeging to @ShelbyPerkins

I saw the explanation and was convinced it was also a great way to protect one’s home from bad wine - before it hits the threshold. Makes total sense to me.

My shipment arrived yesterday already, fastest BD delivery so far! Will give it a bit of time to settle down though.

Yeah, my Vinoshipper packing warehouse is generally aggressive and optimistic with temp controlled shipping. If anyone ends up with issues in the last mile, just lmk.

I think Shelby killed it.

No concerns here, California has been unseasonably warm for the last week.

I don’t want to rush this love we have.

ZIN RAFFLE WILL OCCUR ON FEB 14th!!!

My shipment is arriving on Tuesday 6th, along with a magnum from Maitre the Chai.
I’m very curious about the scale of your solera, levels, criaderas, etc. (I love sherry wine…). Soleras always represent a huge investment, especially for a small producer.
