Highly recommended. Prices have inflated significantly, so the value isn’t as spectacular as it once was. The wines are great though, and our visit was very enjoyable. Just down the road from Tablas, so we combined the two.
Thanks, Bob!
Thanks for responding, Uli. Carlton
Thought I give a response on Thatcher. Solid winery. Always try to stop in and buy something if Iam driving by. For the area, still think their prices are reasonable . Definitely worth a stop in my opinion.
Ecluse makes excellent wines at very affordable prices. Friendly staff with great service.
I think Paso in general is overdoing it, and may end up facing Napa-like blowback eventually. With that said, I checked on Thacher, and you’re right - 25% cumulative price increase over the last three years is sadly not much more than inflation adjustment.
Hello Paso Wine Lovers
Hi there
I’m the winemaker/owner at Copia Vineyards and Winery.
We are a small boutique winery in Paso Robles. Our passion is sustainable organic farming and small lot winemaking.
While going to UC Davis for winemaking certificate programs, I was introduced to Paso Robles area in 2015. I immediately fell in love with both people and terroir of Paso Robles.
I and my wife, Anita came back as interns at Booker in 2016.
We bought our first estate property in 2017 on Kiler Canyon Rd in Willow Creek AVA and planted in 2018-19.
We bought our second Vineyard and winery in Adelaida district in 2022. We just finished our 7th harvest.
We are honored and humbled to be in Food and Wine magazine recently.
Please come visit us and taste our hand crafted limited production wines whenever you visit central coast of California. We look forward to your visit!!

Welcome Varinder!
Fyi, you should check the rules section for the board as this would probably count as a commercial post (which is not allowed).
Hopefully you stick around and share your thoughts as a winery owner though, and if you remain interested, you could look to become a ‘Berserker Business’.
See you in about 2 weeks.
OK and thanks! I am new here.
Thank you. We look forward to hosting you.
How were the wineries? Looking at planning a trip and came across Dresser as well.
Just noticed this post as I’m planning my next trip to PR - welcome Varinder! I visited Copia last March and loved the wines so joined the club! I’m coming again in June, staying at The Story guesthouse, and have plans for a tour and tasting. Can’t wait!
Love seeing this! Coming back through SBC as well?
Cheers
Feel like this board wouldn’t be complete without a Cris Cherry shoutout. MAHA is gorgeous and the wines never disappoint. There are a few newer wines being made down there that have caught our attention lately - Kinero, Idola, Landsby and Terranean. You’ll have to track these guys down, but if passion is what you seek- this is a good group of people to provide it.
I may be able to find some time for a stop in Los Olivos..![]()
Thank you for your support of our small winery. Look forward to see you in June. I am out of country from June 15th to June 26th. Again, Thank you
