Has anyone ever experienced particles floating in their champagne bottle? They don’t really look like cork - more like sediment. I know the wine has a pinkish hue, but I wouldn’t expect actual particles.
All Champagne undergoes a fermentation in the bottle. I’d guess this is just a tiny little bit of lees that didn’t get fully disgorged. I’d be curious what other more knowledgeable board members think.

Logically that makes sense to me. I’ve just never encountered that in a bottle of champagne. These are large particles (you can’t see the big ones in this photo) and there is quite a bit of particulate matter. I’d imagine that with mechanized disgorgement this is pretty rare, but perhaps I’ve just been lucky.
