Paris with Kids?

Going to Paris in early April with my two kids, ages 9 & 7. I’m looking for kid friendly things to do and appropriate restaurants. My oldest is a good eater, my youngest, not so much. Forget any Michelin type places as its just not going to happen. Any help from an activities/dining standpoint would be great.

TIA.

Activities my kids enjoy in the clity center include the Tuilleries Garden, Luxembourg Garden and the Batteaux Mouches. They also enjoy walking around the town with regular stops for pain au chocolate and glace.

The Bois de Boulogne is a nice place to spend a long afternoon. It is a large park on the outskirts of the 16th Arrondisement with an amusement park, zoo and science museum.

Also, our kids have enjoyed day trips to Versailles and Reims (primarily the train)

Bumpity.

Can anyone help with recommendations for restaurants that might be good for kids (10 and 13)? This is the first time we’ve brought them since the eldest was 4. One is pretty adventurous, the other is pretty limited (but will pile through baguettes). My experience is that Parisian restauranteurs prefer dogs to children.

Oh . . . one more thing. They are, unfortunately, American.

my nephew aged 8 loves L’entrecote on Rue Marbeuf.
another vote for the Batteaux Mouches, they have trampolines in the Tuilleries Gardens and a nice merry go round.

The catacombs are gruesomely interesting enough for most kids - it’s about a 45 minute tour (unguided). The entrance is in a really nondescript building opposite the metro station.
Maybe go for brasseries instead of restaurants?
