Osso buco - from pan to piehole

REALLY nice, John. The only place I can reliably get veal shanks around here is our most expensive “gourmet” market and they want about $400 per pound for them.

Bob - do you have a Trader Joe’s nearby?? Our local TJ’s just started carrying veal shanks at a pretty good price.

Wow! Another reason to love Trader Joe’s. I’ll have to go look. Sometimes what they carry is regional, but this is worth a trip. I think I need coffee filters anyway.

I love this when people show each step in the process…cause when i make it, I can always refer back to the picks.
