On Friday afore the Rhone Rangers event in Paso, Jason hosted a lunch for most of the original RhoneRangers that met up at LaLimes restaurant to organize the RR group. Most all of them were there.
Lots of great wines and much reminiscent talk.

Tom,
If you have a minute, names please! I’ve spent way too many hours looking at random pictures of relations and wondering who is who, especially with larger groups that share a common bond.
Thanks,
Zachary

This is one of the wines I took for the luncheon at TablasCreek.
It was in quite good shape. Beautiful fully mature NRhone complex nose. Just a tiny bit of drying out on the palate but still a lovely mature NRhonish flavor.
That’s some serious California wine OG

There were a lot of very interesting wines at lunch I wanted to try. Alas, I only had time to work my way thru a few. But the ones I did try were in great shape.
There were a couple of corked wines and a few that had seen better days but, for the most part, the rest were singing.
Fred Cline came by today pouring his 1997 Roussanne out of mag - a true revelation . . .
Great picture. Terrific event over the years.
