For our 2023 release, Once & Future wines will once again be sold on a first come, first served basis. The wines sell out very quickly as volumes are small.
The offering will remain open, assuming the wines do not sell out, until Friday, March 17th, 11:59PM Pacific time. If you do not get allocated as much as you would like, please use our wish-list request feature in the checkout process. The wines are in short supply, but there may be some wine to redistribute.
I have a ton of Old Hill from Bedrock, Bucklin and earlier Once & Future releases, so no shortage there. I like Dickerson, but I have some, and it doesn’t crack my top tier of must haves.
Love all of these Zins with the Teldeschi being my favorite. Saying that - the Palisades Petite Sirah has been a consistent favorite with the family. Its great stuff.
This is a tough one for me. I am over capacity but the 18’ O+F Teldeschi was one of my wines of the year last year. I need to sit this one out unfortunately. The godfather of zin still makes great wines!
I had a 2019 about a month ago. Needs alot of time. We decanted and drank over an hour. Was good, but somewhat unremarkable at the time. Felt like it had a lot to give, just way too early.
These wines have been a huge hit with friends and family who are wine curious but tend to buy mass market labels. My dad, for example, is usually a buyer of seghesio, belle glos and the like. He enjoyed the mataro and Teldeschi enough that he asked to order a mixed case this year.
As far as I can tell there haven’t been any price changes. Mataro was originally $35, bedrock zin $45, Palisades $55. Old hill was a little more at $48
