Old San Juan Restaurants

Any recommendations for eating out in Old San Juan. Probably would prefer Latin/Caribbean but any can’t miss places?

Cocina Abierta is the first choice–but it is just out of Old San Juan. Antiguo 26 is More cocktails–but the food was good.

Also not OSJ per se but just outside of it, I really enjoyed Vianda. This is the only place anywhere in the world that I’ve felt the urge to dine twice on consecutive days within a single trip.

I second Vianda. Just a great place!

Great food, best wine list I’ve seen in PR, and every waiter is apparently encouraged to become a student of wine. We’ll go back every chance we get. Scryer Rum just around the corner is a fun stop before dinner, but you’ll have to make hard choices - Marmalade also has creative/fun drinks on top of the wine list.

Agree with Marmalade!!!
Absolutely a must visit Amazing food and even better service!!

We ate at Casita Miramar last night and it was simply spectacular. It took quite a while to get our food but it was totally worth it. Vianda was also very good.
