Does anyone have the Heublein wine auction catalog from 1972? I recently received the 8th annual catalog from 1976. It contains a Price Review in the back. I find it interesting that in 1972 there were lots of 1866, 1873, 1890, and 1895 New Jersey Currant Wine that sold at $700 per case. That seems quite high and perhaps it is for the rarity. 1928 Ch Haut-Brion sold for $650 per case, 1945 Ch Lafite sold for $660, and 1928 Ch. Latour for $780 as examples.
If you have the catalog I would be curious to hear about these lots.
