lol ya right
Nice flex!

I’ve been managing chronic cartilage degeneration (OA) in at least one knee for the better part of a decade now, while trying to continue to stay highly active & train for triathlons. The whole discussion around the efficacy of various treatments for knee joint issues is a constant frustration for me – primarily, as it relates to the variability in reported results.
It seems that – regardless of the specific treatment (HA, PRP, stem cells, etc) – the most consistent clinical feedback I’ve received from multiple Ortho/Sports Med docs is “… it depends …” That is, some patients report significant improvement, while others report minimal or no improvement. And they can’t seem to isolate the specific factors that would determine in advance the likelihood of any specific patient seeing good results.
So, in the end, it seems to just become a crap-shoot. And not an inexpensive one (though costs do seem to have come down some over time). Glad to hear that the treatment has had good results for some of the folks on this thread!
My wife has greatly benefited from gel shots for the knee. Gets 3 of them a week apart, every 6 months or so. YMMV
