Can you share more? My nyc apt can no longer handle any more wine and I am thinking about offsite.
Sure.
I now store my wines with more cost effective storage facility at Manawine.com in Jersey City. They pick up and deliver. Better services, than my previous storage in the Bronx (not recommended) which unreasonably charges for everything and anything that I request.
Any good suggestions for wine storage in Chicago/ SW Mich. Currently have about 500 bottles and present storage coy is increasing prices by 40% come July 1.
Would love to find something like this, or this, in the Bay Area, if anyone can help. Doesn’t even have to be self-organized. Palletized would be fine, billed in years instead of months, with no ins/outs. Inexpensive is the only qualification. Thanks in advance!
I’ll shoot you a DM @Colby_Scott
The Wine Bank in Menlo Park has a variety of storage lockers.
thats pretty inexpensive for the bay area. where is this? I’m at WineBank and am around $2/btl/yr. very convenient for me as I live on the peninsula
Marin County. I lucked out a bit with my unit, but they raised the price a bit since then, so I’m up to $1.15 bottle/year these days.
I do K&L in SF due to it being 5 minutes away from our place. It’s $3/bottle per year. At some point, I should find a better option for the bottles I don’t intend to touch for several years.
